Glenrise Investments (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a dynamic Fleet Officer to join our team. As a Fleet Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our construction project’s fleet.

Your responsibilities will include vehicle scheduling, maintenance, fuel management, driver coordination, and implementing fleet management strategies. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our construction projects. Competitive remuneration and other incentives are available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction project’s fleet, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, fuel management, and driver coordination.
  • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize fleet utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving measures, such as fuel efficiency programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including vehicle inspections, maintenance logs, and driver records.
  • Coordinate with project teams to forecast fleet needs and ensure the availability of vehicles and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce fleet policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely procurement of vehicles, parts, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics or equivalent.
  • 5 years of proven experience as a Fleet Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or transportation industry.
  • Professional certifications in transport and logistics are an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management principles, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and driver coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
