Job Description
Nash Paints is looking for a diligent financial accountant to be responsible for supporting decision-making and overseeing financial information. The financial accountant’s responsibilities include producing budgets, overseeing tax payments, and conducting internal audits.
To be successful as a financial accountant, you should have an accounting degree and experience as an accountant. Ultimately, a seasoned Financial Accountant should be competent in financial principles and ensure the organization complies with the law.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Budgets and cash flows.
- Year end reporting.
- Management of stock counts.
- Responsible for product costing.
- Fixed asset management.
- Ensuring compliance with SOPs.
- Oversee risk management in the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accountancy.
- CTA is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Knowledgeable of Sage X3 is a must.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
