Telecel Zimbabwe is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented External Sales Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to revenue generation and be part of a leading telecommunications company.
As an External Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in marketing and selling our products and services to dealers, ensuring a consistent supply in the market and expanding our sales outlets.
- Sell all company products and services to allocated dealers in order to achieve targeted revenue per assigned channel.
- Identify and establish new sales outlets, actively sourcing and engaging new dealers to expand our market reach and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor the supply chain and identify areas for improvement, implementing measures to mitigate any problems and ensure smooth operations.
- Gather market intelligence and provide timely reports to support decision-making processes, contributing to a competitive edge in the market.
- Compile sales reports accurately and within set timelines, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing sales performance.
- Conduct initiatives to disseminate information about our services and products to customers within the allocated market segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Represent Telecel Zimbabwe in a professional manner, upholding the company’s values and fostering a positive brand image.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Possession of a clean class 4 driver’s license is a must.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
