Telecel Zimbabwe is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented External Sales Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to revenue generation and be part of a leading telecommunications company.

As an External Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in marketing and selling our products and services to dealers, ensuring a consistent supply in the market and expanding our sales outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell all company products and services to allocated dealers in order to achieve targeted revenue per assigned channel.
  • Identify and establish new sales outlets, actively sourcing and engaging new dealers to expand our market reach and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor the supply chain and identify areas for improvement, implementing measures to mitigate any problems and ensure smooth operations.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide timely reports to support decision-making processes, contributing to a competitive edge in the market.
  • Compile sales reports accurately and within set timelines, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing sales performance.
  • Conduct initiatives to disseminate information about our services and products to customers within the allocated market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Represent Telecel Zimbabwe in a professional manner, upholding the company’s values and fostering a positive brand image.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Possession of a clean class 4 driver’s license is a must.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
