The Radiation Protection Authority of Zimbabwe (RPAZ) is a regulatory body responsible for ensuring the safe and secure use of radiation sources in Zimbabwe.

RPAZ is looking for a skilled and dedicated Driver to join the authority’s dynamic team. The Driver will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services, ensuring the efficient movement of personnel and materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate RPAZ vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide transportation services for RPAZ staff and officials, ensuring timely and comfortable journeys.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle(s).
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure efficient transportation services.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to RPAZ’s policies and procedures regarding vehicle use and safety.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with RPAZ personnel and external stakeholders.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a minimum of 5 O’ Level passes, including English Language.
- Hold a valid Class One Driver’s License.
- Possess a Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Be at least 30 years of age.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a trackable reference.
- Demonstrate an understanding of vehicle maintenance and possess a mechanical background.
