Croco Motors is looking for a dynamic and experienced Dealer Principal to lead our Agriquip division. As the Dealer Principal, you will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding our agricultural and construction equipment business in Zimbabwe. Join our team and contribute to the achievement of maximum sales, turnover, and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take accountability for the successful establishment of the Agriquip franchise in Zimbabwe.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the main business unit and coordinate the establishment of projected units in other centers across the country.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of the unit’s resources.
  • Formulate, implement, and monitor strategic plans and budgets for the unit.
  • Achieve monthly and annual unit targets, including sales, penetration, productivity, revenue, and profitability.
  • Implement and monitor the approved budget, ensuring financial controls are in place.
  • Analyze and review business unit expenses, addressing variances and proposing solutions.
  • Manage company assets, including stocks, cash, debtors, fixed property, and movable assets.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and staff.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels to enhance service quality.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies to mitigate risks.
  • Provide leadership, training, and motivation to staff, conducting performance reviews.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Commercial, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Engineering, Agri-related fields, or equivalent. Proven management prowess and experience in the Agricultural Engineering/sales or related industries will also be considered.
  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in Management, Business, Marketing, Agricultural Engineering, or related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar or related environment, with at least 1 year at a supervisory level.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Well-organized with proficiency in MS Office and ability to meet deadlines.
