Our client, a reputable advertising agency in Zambia, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Copywriter Strategist to join their team. With a strong emphasis on delivering impactful and creative content, our client is dedicated to providing strategic advertising solutions to their clients.
If you are a talented professional with a passion for copywriting and strategy, this opportunity is for you. As a Copywriter Strategist, you will play a vital role in our client’s advertising agency by developing compelling and impactful content strategies.
You will collaborate with various teams to create engaging copy for marketing campaigns and projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and editing content, conducting research and interviews, and ensuring compliance with advertising regulations.
Additionally, you will contribute to business development activities, maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, and manage the overall performance of the department.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations of the advertising agency.
- Coordinate business development events and office activities.
- Develop content strategies and oversee their implementation.
- Review and edit content for publishing.
- Source content, conduct research, and carry out interview activities in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with designers, PR professionals, and other team members on both large- and small-scale projects.
- Utilize SEO principles to maximize the reach of content.
- Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly management reports in a timely manner.
- Perform general administrative functions to ensure uninterrupted business flow and efficient daily operations.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key partners, shareholders, and stakeholders.
- Establish professional networks and stay updated with developments in the advertising industry.
- Set prices and continuously monitor them against budgetary requirements and industry rates.
- Prepare and implement work schedules, conduct daily team meetings, and allocate jobs.
- Manage the overall performance of the department and coordinate and monitor team activities, providing guidance on internal processes and procedures.
- Facilitate recruitment, training, and employee development programs.
- Implement the business strategy and compile comprehensive reports covering all areas of the overall business performance in line with departmental deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
- Advertising Association membership.
- Minimum of six (6) continuous years of advertising experience (mandatory requirement).
- Exceptional leadership and strategy skills.
- Excellent project management and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strong focus on quality and time management.
- Ability to work within budgets.
- Business development skills for acquiring new business and pitching.
- Net Salary of USD 1,000.00.
- Must be willing to permanently relocate to Zambia.
