Parallel World is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team. As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and optimize financial performance.
  • Provide financial guidance and support for business development initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including forecasting and scenario modeling.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications such as ACCA or CIMA are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within a technology-driven organization or start-up environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
