Job Description
Croco Motors is a leading automotive group in Zimbabwe distributing a wide range of motor vehicles including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural equipment.
Operating through a nationwide network of dealerships and workshops, Croco Motors is committed to excellent customer service and industry leadership.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Business Unit Manager will provide leadership to the Croco Commercial dealership in Harare.
Accountable for achieving sales targets and overall unit performance, the successful candidate will implement strategic goals through efficient operations and resource management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day running of dealership operations, staffing, and customer services
- Develop annual business plan and budget with monthly targets for approval
- Monitor expenses against approved budget, analyzing variances and implementing controls
- Direct marketing, sales and aftersales activities to maximize dealership performance
- Manage inventory levels, acquisition and disposal of new/used vehicles and equipment
- Enforce credit policies and pursue outstanding customer accounts
- Compile and analyze performance reports to identify opportunities and risks
- Ensure maintenance of dealership facilities, assets, and adherence to regulatory compliance
- Represent dealership at industry events and maintain strategic agency/supplier partnerships
- Coach and motivate dealership staff to achieve targets through regular feedback and training
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- Management diploma/postgraduate qualification preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role
- Driver’s license and strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and planning skills
- Proven track record achieving targets through people management
- Accuracy with MS Office applications and meeting deadlines
- Effective communication and relationship building abilities
- Integrity, accountability and commitment to excellence
