First Capital Bank is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business & Research Manager to join our team. As the Business & Research Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic business goals, conducting extensive market research, and providing valuable insights to enhance overall team efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Management to identify and prioritize strategic business goals and initiatives.
- Coordinate and guide the implementation of strategic business initiatives.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve team performance.
- Act as a consultant to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and provide expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency.
- Coordinate business-wide procedures and continually improve existing processes for clarity, efficiency, and success.
- Work with and/or lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution of projects.
- Attend executive meetings and effectively plan and coordinate them, delivering progress reports to the CFO.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis on market activities to identify business opportunities.
- Present detailed company operations analyses to the CFO and senior leaders.
- Evaluate risk factors when making critical business decisions.
- Oversee the completion of special projects and initiatives, providing skillful oversight and support.
- Identify areas of improvement across the organization and make actionable recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Commercial Degree.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
- Relevant MBA and/or other professional qualifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a bank, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record as a creative thinker with strong business acumen.
- Confidence in dealing with high-profile individuals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks successfully.
- Excellent administrative, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
