Job Description

Our client is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join their team. Joining their dynamic team offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to their continued success.

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a vital role in driving business growth, building relationships with key partners, and identifying new opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate business development events and office activities to support the overall strategy.
  • Build and maintain professional networks and progressive relationships with key partners, shareholders, and stakeholders.
  • Schedule attendance and participation at events and exhibitions to showcase the company’s services.
  • Formulate and execute the business development strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Compile comprehensive reports on business performance, analyzing areas for improvement and identifying opportunities.
  • Stay updated on developments in the logistics industry, both locally and internationally, and implement relevant findings.
  • Identify new partnerships, collaborations, and business development opportunities, conducting research on target clients.
  • Maintain existing clients, ensuring strong relationships to support business retention.
  • Draft contracts, clauses, and retainers with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a coordinated approach to business development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics. A degree and certifications in the same field are advantageous.
  • Minimum of three (3) continuous years of experience in logistics or transport business development (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry (mandatory).
  • Possession of a Class 4 Driver’s License.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Exceptional digital presentation skills to deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Quality and time management orientation to ensure deliverables are met.

Remuneration:

  • Basic salary of USD350.00
  • USD10,000.00 sales revenue target to activate 10% commission on net revenue generated monthly.
  • Vehicle and fuel allowance for business purposes.
  • Communication allowance.
