Our client is looking for an energetic and goal-driven individual with excellent management, negotiation, and communication skills to fill the role of Business Developer/Project Manager. This position requires strong market intelligence and experience in new road and industry developments, council/road commissioning, installation of new billboards, contractor management, and adherence to occupational health and safety procedures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving project success and fostering key partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new road and industry developments that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and secure project opportunities.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee the installation of new billboards, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and government agencies to enhance project opportunities.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, status reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices for future initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably with a focus on new road and industry developments, council/road commissioning, and installation of billboards.
  • Strong market intelligence and a proven track record in identifying and securing project opportunities.
  • Excellent management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Qualification in project management or a related field will be advantageous.
