Job Description
A Zimbabwean start-up, Kupfuma, which seeks to transform how small businesses in emerging markets are managed and funded through Artificial Intelligence-based funding using big data, is looking for an innovative business advisor to streamline efficiency across their business operations.
You must be motivated to unlock growth for small businesses in emerging markets and currently working with small businesses will provide you with an added advantage.
Your typical responsibilities
To be unstoppable in your role, we require both your technical and soft skills to be top notch in order to blend with the rest of the #DreamTeam we are developing.
- Sign up small businesses on our Kupfuma Application.
- Assess and training small businesses on how to use our Kupfuma Application.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports for small businesses in our pool.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- To check project viability through project appraisal with small businesses.
- Assist in formalising and preparing regulatory tax returns for the small businesses.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting staff for each respective small business.
- Be on the Advisory Boards for the respective small businesses.
- Preparation of funding documentation and due diligence for our small businesses pool.
- Monthly country economic reports.

Minimum Requirements
- Strictly a degree in entrepreneurship.
- Experience in working with small businesses.
- Ability to travel to different cities and towns within your country.
- Based in Zimbabwe, Harare.
