Probfix Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd is looking for diligent and detail-oriented Branch Accountants/Administrators to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our branches and support the overall growth of our organization.

As a Branch Accountant/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger entries.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Handle payroll administration, including calculating salaries, deductions, and statutory payments.
  • Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial controls and risk management measures.
  • Stay updated with financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a lending set-up, with a strong understanding of financial inclusion, business, and salary-based loans.
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
