Our client is looking for a dynamic Billing Manager to join their team. As a Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in business management and banking who are passionate about delivering exceptional service in the financial sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee billing operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoices.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor billing processes and systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary billing information and resolve client inquiries.
  • Prepare and analyze billing reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing billing-related queries and concerns.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and changes in billing practices.
  • Train and supervise billing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with billing standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams for billing-related reconciliations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new billing software or systems.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Stay informed about market trends and developments in billing practices and technologies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of billing information.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Business Management, Banking, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Sales and marketing background will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of merchant services and billing processes.
  • Possession of a clean class 2 or 4 driver’s license.
  • Strong presentation skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
