Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) is a reputable government agency responsible for revenue administration and collection in Zimbabwe. Our organization plays a vital role in supporting the country’s economic development by ensuring compliance with tax policies and regulations.

ZIMRA is looking for a highly skilled Administration Officer: Stores, Finance & Administration to join their dynamic team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of stock items, ensuring adherence to receipt procedures, monitoring reorder levels, and maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the distribution of stock items to end users.
  • Oversee the receipt of goods into stores, ensuring compliance with receipt procedures.
  • Monitor reorder levels and initiate necessary actions to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure proper storage of stocks according to their value and material groups.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and stock checks to maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Ensure goods are properly stored, shelved, and labeled for easy identification.
  • Develop and manage the stores budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Ensure that all stations are adequately stocked with the required items.
  • Identify and mitigate any potential risks related to stores operations.
  • Facilitate timely payment to suppliers, ensuring seamless supply chain management.
  • Prepare individual and sectional development plans for the stores team.
  • Promote health and safety practices in all store rooms and warehouses.
  • Implement effective standards and proper inventory systems to optimize stores operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Administration, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supply Management, or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
  • At least one (1) year of experience at a supervisory level in a warehouse environment within a large private or public entity or multinational organization.
  • Possession of a clean class four (4) driver’s license is a must.
