As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining cash books, bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, and file maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the financial operations of our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cash books and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Handle debtors and creditors, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
  • Manage file maintenance to ensure proper organization and accessibility of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.
  • Assist with budget preparation and tracking.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide support during audits and financial inspections.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining cash books and bank reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of Hansa and QuickBooks is an added advantage.
  • 1 year of experience in debtors and creditors management.
  • Familiarity with file maintenance procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIS.
