Our client, a well-established organization, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Administration Manager to join their dynamic team.
As an Accounts Administration Manager, you will be responsible for managing the department that centralizes the processing and coordination of all orders and administration requirements for the day-to-day operations of the organization.
This role plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization’s financial processes and maintaining accurate records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts administration department, overseeing the processing and coordination of all orders and administration requirements.
- Maintain and reconcile all prepaid accounts, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
- Track requisitions and ensure timely processing and delivery.
- Monitor cashflows, forecast future needs, and coordinate with the finance team to ensure adequate funds are available.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, highlighting any discrepancies or areas of concern.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial data and prevent fraud.
- Provide support and guidance to the accounts administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry developments and changes in accounting regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or administration role.
- A qualification in Accounting or Finance it preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable.
