Job Description
a UK-based homecare and live-in care services provider, seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions of the company, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company
- Analyze financial data and provide financial reports to management
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary information to auditors
- Manage payroll and employee benefits administration
- Provide financial advice to the management team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- About 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
