DevOps Security Engineer (Cloud Native Security)

I have played a pivotal role in enhancing cyber security capabilities for a Cloud SaaS platform on Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Platform. By implementing DevSecOps practices, I secured the entire DevOps pipeline. I successfully integrated and automated various security measures, including AWS security baselines, Kubernetes security stack, and multi-cloud governance using cutting-edge technologies like Rapid7 Divvy Cloud. Additionally, I ensured seamless log aggregation and integration into Sumo Logic, enabling efficient monitoring and incident response. By leveraging Twist Lock and Signal Sciences, I fortified Kubernetes and protected the Cloud Native platform from potential threats. My expertise in SEIM optimization and MSSP deployment further bolstered incident response procedures, culminating in a comprehensive and robust security framework.

Security Engineer

During my tenure with the SRE team from 2018 to 2019, I made significant contributions by spearheading the development and deployment of robust security infrastructure while automating security operations. I created high-quality technical content, including automation tools, reference architectures, and playbooks, enabling streamlined processes. Through proactive testing and assessments, I identified weaknesses, potential threats, and vulnerabilities within existing information security toolsets. Additionally, I conducted thorough cloud and network security reviews, ensuring a fortified defense posture. My expertise extended to advising on cutting-edge hacking tools and techniques, including advanced malware detection. Collaboratively, we defined a comprehensive security incident response strategy and implemented an effective notification system. Overall, my contributions added immense value in enhancing security measures and fortifying the organization’s resilience against evolving threats.

Security Analyst

During my tenure as a junior security analyst, I played a crucial role in fortifying the security posture of the new HIS system. By conducting thorough assessments of infrastructure and application communication channels, I identified vulnerabilities and implemented robust edge security measures. Through meticulous data categorization and evaluation, I ensured compliance with HIPAA/DHA regulations. I successfully designed and implemented comprehensive security methodologies, encompassing servers, storage, networks, endpoints, and users, while conducting training sessions to enhance security awareness among staff. Additionally, I maintained the integrity of information and physical security infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, and IDS/IPS systems.
